CALL MEETING TO ORDER: Chairperson Macro called the meeting to order at 9:03 pm
ROLL CALL
Members present: Chairperson Macro, Commissioner FitzPatrick, Commissioner Pitcock, Commissioner Jeski
Members absent: Commissioner Jennings
Alternates present: Commissioner Evans, Commissioner Foley, Commissioner Taylor
Alternates absent: none
Commissioner Foley was appointed to sit for Commissioner Jennings.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: None
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
- Motion by Commissioner Foley, seconded by Commissioner Jeski, was made to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting held on April 2, 2013. The motion carried unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS:
- Discussed Fraize brick pavers and agreed to request more information, a sample, and alternatives, including use of behind the house parking.
- Discussed Evergreen Lodge and agreed to request additional information, including size of generator pad, evaluating a lean-to structure at back of building for lawnmower and air conditioning unit, and another option for locating the propane tank and generator closer to the building.
- Motion by Commissioner FitzPatrick, seconded by Commissioner Jeski, was made to approve the COA for the Ramsey flagpole and generator with the provision that, after installation, if necessary, additional screening may need to be evaluated. The motion carried unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS:
- The HRI Phase III needs to obtain additional bids to perform the work.
- Reported status of Demolition Delay Committee, which determined that 1146 Main Street is a significant structure. It will be posted in the CT Trust Historic Properties Exchange.
ADJOURNMENT:
Commissioner Jeski moved to adjourn the meeting at 10.13 pm; seconded by Commissioner FitzPatrick. The motion carried unanimously.
